I followed you up the road Jo,
took a different direction but to the same place where respect and value run together, run true and when thinking of our brotherhood, I were able to take solace knowing, that I didn’t do it for us Jo, it were more for them others that we’d left behind and yet more, selfish pride from the nagging inside which after you’d left had played tricks with my mind. But one day my friend, it’ll all turn arse upwards and it’s that belief that keeps me alive, ‘cos them gaffers ain’t real, they don’t know how to feel and they don’t know what it means to survive, ... not like us, eh Jo? |
